Display brightness range of the 777X CDU (V2)

Hi,

Just received the 777X V2 CDU, great product! I just noticed a difference regarding the brightness of the display, compared to the 737X V2 unit.

I don’t know if it’s specific to my unit, but I can’t adjust the brightness of the display to the same extent than the 737 one. I mean, even at the lowest value (tested with both Spad and the CS bridge) the display is still pretty bright compared to the same level with the 737 unit.

And it seems to reach the maximum brightness with the slider at around 40% in the CS bridge, I don’t notice any increase of the brightness between 40 and 100%

The brightness was perfect with the 737X unit, even at the lowest value the 777X is still pretty bright in a dark room.

I updated to the last FW (5.0.6)

Please dim the indoor lighting and then:

  1. Enter the CS bridge test mode and use the slider to adjust the brightness;
  2. Press the menu+5 key simultaneously to enter the built-in testing mode of the CDU, and adjust the brightness by pressing the BRT key;
  3. After entering the game and loading the aircraft, use the BRT button on the CDU to adjust the brightness.
