The good news is: Thanks to express package service (DHL Express) I probably get the MCDU next week. Bad news: Had to pay duties and taxes. Not too much, but still an unpleasant surprise. My last orders here arrived DDP. Just a heads up to everyone ordering.

I totally understand. I think it is just important to consider this. At least in Germany it would be cheaper to buy via Aerosoft. But I get that you cannot really calculate DDP, since there are so many variations. Anyway, I’m still excited for my new MCDU, the new metal encasing looks very promising.
just got my MCDU in. Crazy fast shipping, I was very surprised to see it show up at my door today. I am blown away by the quality so far. The full metal case feels great. I am debating upgrading my Boeing CDUs to the metal versions! Great work guys
Same here. Got my MCDU today. Build quality is really outstanding. I had to fiddle a bit with the USB ports as it didn’t like to be on the same USB panel together with my Mini EFIS. After connecting to a different port it worked.
It was once again the “wow” effect known from some months ago when I got my Boeing FCU. It is so immersive to have the MCDU on my desk. 1:1 from the Fenix, no delays, no problems (except my initial problems with the wiring). It is really worth the money, especially when you consider the superb hardware build quality.
Even more fun flying the Fenix. Highly recommended!
Received my MCDU two days ago and I´m having a lot of fun. I have just one question: Is it possible to dim the display?
It should be synchronised to the in aircraft CDU brightness
It isn´t in my case.
